FUN WITH FRIENDS

Last weekend Erin, Leila, Stephanie and Audrey came to town for a visit. We had a great time together . Here is Grammy and her little Darlins!

I bought this candy bowl with a hand that moves and says funny things thinking the little girls would get a real kick out of it. Audrey thought it was funny but Leila didn't want a thing to do with it! So the big kids had some fun with it. (see Leila, nothing to be afraid of) haha hehe

Audrey and Leila had a great time playing together, taking wagon rides, and frosting sugar cookies.



It was a wonderful weekend. So full of love and laughs!

Kick off to Fall

Jim & I went to Ventura ,CA for a fun weekend with family. While we were there we took in a benefit concert for the Venture Hillside Music Festival. We enjoyed an afternoon of sun, food and good times with family and friends. We listened to music from WPA, Gin Bloosoms, Colbie Caillat and EmmyLou Harris. Great afternoon till EmmyLou took the stage for the finale. Let's just say that I would not recommend buying tickets to see her. She sang the most downbeat and depressing songs.... Our favorite was Colbie...a Ventura native!

A lazy Sunday afternoon at Cannon Beach

On a spur of the moment idea we went to Cannon Beach for a few hours. Enjoyed fish tacos at Mo's.

Max really loves the beach! He almost acts like a puppy......so much energy!

Cookie Baking 101

My sweet niece Elisabeth came to Portland for a visit not long ago and we did some serious cookie baking.

But to keep up our energy while the cookies were baking we HAD to have some smores!

Florida Vacation 2010

We recently visited Jim's daughter and her husband, Megan and John in Navarre, Florida. We so enjoyed the beach, dinners together and seeing that part of the country.
