4th of July

We headed up to the Tavern household the morning of July 4th to celebtare the 4th of July.
As soon as we arrived, Leila had to show us her NEW swingset!!!
It was an early birthday present so she could enjoy it during the summer.

After dinner and before fireworks, Erin, Shawn, Leila and I took a little walk around the neighborhood.

Baby shower for Eric & Sarah!

In June I traveled to Ventura for the family baby shower to celebrate the impending arrival of the newest Holmstrom.
Elisabeth did a beautiful job of decorating, using the theme of  "Baby Appleseed" (the sweet endearment that they used to refer to the new little guy during the 9 months of waiting)

It was so much fun to be able to help get everything set up and organized.  The weather was perfect!
